The 4X4 Matrix RMT remote control lets you control your Matrix switcher from a 1000 feet away.The 4X4 Matrix RMT can be used to switch video in 3 different ways. The 4X4 Matrix RMT is connected directly to the Matrix device via CAT5 cable, you may push the buttons on top of the RMT Remote to switch video. The 4X4 Matrix RMT can also switch video wirelessly via Infra-Red using the RMT4-IR. Finally, an RS-232 port on the back of the Matrix RMT allows a remote computer or device to control the switching via RS-232 protocols.
